October 8th, 2009 - NLDS 2, Game 2

The Cardinals were able to even up their series with the Dodgers with a brilliant outing from starter Adam Wainright. Slugger Albert Pujols contributed 3 hits, but it was mostly aggressive baserunning and small ball from skipper Tony LaRussa that carried the day for St. Louis. Cards 3b Mark DeRosa had to leave the game after being hit by a pitch, however, and the Cards will need to substitute for him in their next game.
