| The Yankees were stunned at home again, this time by a strong pitching performance from Joe Saunders. Saunders went six strong innings, and got superb relief help from Bulger and Fuentes for the 5-2 win. While Torii Hunter continued to shine, it was former Yankee Bobby Abreu's day to shine, going 4 for 5 with a double and a home run. Much of the Yankees' lineup, including "the Captain" Derek Jeter, have yet to really get going in the playoffs, and down 2-0 time is beginning to run out on New York. |
