The LA Angles annilhilated Red Sox pitching staff to take a 2-1 game lead. Torii Hunter continued to rake, blasting a three run homer and notching 3 more hits in addition to his two homers in game two. Mike Lowell blasted a grand slam, but Boston's efforts could not match the LA onslaught. Darren Oliver contriuted 4 strong innings in relief to notch the win.
