October 19th, 2009 ALCS Game 3

The New York Yankees rallied to come back and avoid a 3-0 deficit with a three run homer by shortstop Derek Jeter. NY also enjoyed something it's seen little of this post-season: effective pitching from starter CC Sabathia and middle relievers. Johnny Damon had to leave the game early. In another report, Vladimir Guerrero's game 2 injury is much worse than expected and he will miss the remainder of the 2009 post season.
