October 7th, 2009 - NLDS Series 1 Game 1

Clint Barmes and the Rockies played long ball to stun the Philadelphia Phillies and ace Cliff Lee, 7-5. Barmes rocketed two home runs, and Ian Steward added another in his role as a defensive substitute late in the game. Rockies closer Houston Street had to work 2 innings, making his effectiveness for tomorrow's game in some doubt.
