October 20th, 2009 ALCS Game 4

The New York Yankees picked an awful time to play their worst game of the season. Two errors, two wild pitches and two passed ball, coupled with only three hits from their offense resulted in a 9-0 loss and virtual elimination from the playoffs. "We were just brutal," said third baseman Alex Rodriguez, whose two base error resulted in the first run of the game. New York owner George Steinbrenner issued a one word press release: "Unacceptable." The Angels dominated on the mound as well as at the bat. Starter Jared Weaver's complete game victory gave him a 3-0 post season record with a 0.39 ERA. Torii Hunter's home run made him a shoe in for MVP should LA win the World Series.
